Story

Twenty-five years after the ecological collapse, the Earth has become uninhabitable, and the mother, father, and son are confined to the bunker of their castle, where they struggle to maintain hope and a sense of normalcy while clinging to the rituals of daily life. A stranger, a girl, upends their happy routine. The son, a naive twenty-year-old who has never seen the outside world, is captivated by the newcomer, and suddenly the delicate bonds of blind indifference that have held this wealthy clan together begin to crumble. As tensions mount, their seemingly idyllic existence begins to crumble, and long-suppressed regrets and resentments threaten to destroy the family’s delicate balance. But their reckoning with difficult truths also points to a different path forward, one based on acceptance, love, and the ability to change.
